Search Strategist – SEO-SEM
Candidate will have a strong background and expertise in SEO, SEM, website, and search analytics; social media integration; and project management. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of SEO strategies on multiple client websites to improve traffic volume and quality toward generating qualified leads and conversions. The SEO analyst will collaborate with the marketing and development teams to achieve goals.
Responsibilities:
- Management of SEO campaigns, generating ranking reports, conducting site audits, handling client concerns, etc
- SEO strategy and implementation, including:
- Site analysis
- Competitive analysis
- SERP analysis
- Webmaster tools analysis
- Oversee and assist with SEO strategy execution
- Work with editorial, development, and marketing team to implement SEO best practices
- Hands-on optimization, improving site structure, page metadata, content, keyword lists, and SEO copywriting
- Research, identify, and establish partnerships and opportunities for link-building
- Identify performance targets, project milestones, resource needs, etc
- Monitor the overall performance of organic search efforts
- Work with content developers to implement effect social media integration
- Ongoing reporting to internal stakeholders, as well as direct to client
- Maintaining client relationships, including overseeing monthly reporting and communicating strategies, results
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in marketing or relevant work experience
- At least 5-10 hands-on SEO experiences with a successful track record; agency-side a must
- Strong working knowledge of the latest SEO techniques, ranking strategies, and algorithm updates
- Good working knowledge of WordPress and other CMS platforms
- Results-driven, organized, and very self-directed
- Excellent presentation and reporting skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with SEO reporting and analytical tools
- Content strategy experience a plus
- Market research skills a plus
- PPC experience a plus
- Requires strong communication skills
Required experience:
- Past pharma experience
- 5-10 years of agency experience
